Analysis and research on tidal flow of the extension project of shelter anchorage at Wanning North fishing port
The tidal current velocity and flow pattern of the shelter anchorage in the fishing port have an important influence on the safe berthing of ships. In this paper, hydrodynamic reference for the expansion project of the sheltered anchorage at Wanning North fishing port was provided.By integrating historical tidal and hydrological observation data of engineering water bodies,a two-dimensional tidal model was employed to simulate the tidal flow patterns before and after the implementation of the project. The flow field characteristics and possible impacts on the surrounding hydrodynamic environment after the implementation of the project were analyzed. The research results indicate that after the implementation of the project, the dredging depth of the waterway increases, and the cross-sectional area of the waterway also increases. The waterway is located in a two-dimensional plane, showing a slight decrease in flow velocity. At the same time, due to the depth of the waterway dredging, the water flow is concentrated towards the waterway, and the diversion effect on both sides of the waterway is weakened, resulting in a slight decrease in flow velocity. After the implementation of the project and the Xiaohai South-Branch Improvement Project, the diversion effect of the South Branch Road is obvious. The diversion effect of the Xiaohai North-Branch,where the project is located,is weakened, and the flow velocity decreases.
