Research on the Effect of Copper on Silver Catalyzed Electroreduction of Carbon Dioxide
The catalytic reduction of carbon dioxide is expected to achieve the conversion and recovery of greenhouse gases,but also can generate some economic products such as methanol,ethanol and other low molecular weight.In addition,the catalytic reduction of carbon dioxide can also realize the carbon cycle,so as to achieve the goal of "carbon peak" by 2030 and "carbon neutrality" by 2060,which has been set by China in 2020.Compared with photocatalysis and photohybrid catalysis,electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide has the advantages of low energy consumption,no limitation of sites and simple reaction conditions,but at the same time,it requires higher performance of the catalyst.In this paper,the difference of catalytic performance between Cu-Ag alloy and Ag elemental has been compared,which has paved the way for the research of related catalysts.
