Central Composite Design-Response Surface Method to Optimize Ether Extraction Technology Conditions of Lutein from Marigold
In order to optimize the extraction conditions of lutein from marigold flowers, the different mixing ratio of ether and water and the oscillation time were taken as the object of study, the extraction rate was taken as the index, and on the basis of single factor test,13 sets of experimental results designed were multiple linear regression analysed by the Central Composite Design-Response Surface Method.Mathematical model was established and 3D response surface map was plotted. The optimum extraction conditions were as follows:the volume ratio of ether to water was 7.12,and the oscillation time was 27.78 min.According to the optimum technological conditions, the actual extraction rate was 2.51%,and the deviation from the theoretical prediction was 4.9%.It shows that the model is reliable, simple in experimental design and has good predictability.
