Preparation Method and Performance Study of Non-Stick Wheel Emulsified Bitumen
In high-temperature environments,the emulsified asphalt adhesive layer adheres to the tires of construction vehicles,resulting in the failure of the interlayer bonding of asphalt pavement.In order to solve this problem,non-stick wheel emulsified bitumen was prepared by mixing different matrix bitumen,and a series of performance tests were carried out,including Engela viscosity,storage stability,and softening point of evaporation residue.At the same time,the adhesion rate test was used to test the viscous wheel performance of non-stick wheel emulsified bitumen,and compared with the ordinary emulsified asphalt viscous layer oil sold on the market,the non-stick wheel emulsion bitumen had a significant non-stick wheel effect in a high temperature environment.The interlayer adhesion of two types of bitumen emulsion was studied,and the influence level on the adhesion of bitumen emulsion at different ambient temperatures was analyzed.The results show that the interlayer shear strength of non-stick wheel emulsified bitumen is better than that of commercially available ordinary emulsified asphalt in both room temperature and high temperature environment,and the interlayer bonding effect of non-stick wheel emulsified bitumen can be better exerted in high temperature environment.The indicators of non-stick wheel emulsified asphalt meet the requirements of the specification,which can reduce the construction time,extend the service life of the road,reduce the frequency of maintenance,and reduce the goal of project cost.
