Research Progress of Catalytic Combustion Catalysts for Volatile Organic Pollutants
Volatile organic pollutants(VOCs)are considered key components of photochemical smog and are important precursors of ozone and fine particulate matter(PM2.5).Catalytic combustion(oxidation)technology can effectively remove VOCs and convert them into harmless carbon dioxide and water, and has become one of the most promising VOCs destruction technologies. In this paper, the effects of monolithic catalyst preparation methods, basis and active components on the performance of VOCs during catalytic combustion are reviewed, the effects of noble metals and non-precious metals as active components on catalyst performance are discussed in detail, and the degradation of VOCs by catalytic combustion is prospected.
