3-fluorobenzoborate Modified PEDOT for the Electrochemical Detection of Lactic Acid and Glucose
The PEDOT-FPBA electrode was constructed by electropolymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT-FPBA)monomer containing 3-fluorobenylboric acid on a glass carbon electrode at constant voltage, and the glucose and lactic acid were selectively identified by adjusting the pH of the tested solution. It was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical impedance method.Glucose or lactic acid were detected by electrochemical impedance method at pH value 2 or 7,respectively,with a linear range of 0.05 to 30 mmol/L and a detection limit(LOD)of 0.03 mmol/L.In addition,PEDOT-FPBA,as a kind of glucose and lactic acid sensor under different pH conditions, has the advantages of wide detection range, good selectivity, storage stability and reuse, and has great potential in the continuous monitoring of enzyme-free glucose and lactic acid.
