Synthesis and Crystal Structures of Triacetyl Methyldopa
Triacetyl methyldopa was synthesized by the reaction of methyldopa acylated with acetic anhydride in the presence of pyridine which was used as solvent and catalyst for 5 hours at 95 ℃.The ratio of the yield is 85.3%.The crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction, the result showed that the molecular formula is C16H18NO7,Mr=337.32,a=0.207 76(4)nm,b=0.875 09(18)nm,c=0.973 57(19)nm,α=90°,β=91.60(3)°,γ=90°,belongs to the monoclinic system and P21/c space group.
