Bipyridine was synthesized from pyridine under the catalyst,the yied was 66％.The effects of temperature,pressure,catalyst,reactor and raw materials on the yield of bipyridine were investigated.At the same time,the production amount of byproduct piperidine under different conditions was studied,and the separation method of pyridine piperidine was explored.
