Study on Production of 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene by Alkylation of Aromatic Hydrocarbons Under Hydrogen Atmosphere
Using modified HZSM molecular sieve as catalyst, the effect of hydrogen-associated conditions on the production of 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene was studied. The results showed that the catalyst had long service life and almost no loss of activity within 223 h.However, for the catalyst without hydrogen atmosphere, the life of the catalyst is short, and the evaluation of 20 h coking is serious. In addition, for HZSM catalysts loaded with 1.7%magnesium,the use of toluene methanol for alkylation can efficiently produce 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene,with a one-way reaction selectivity of up to 23%.
