Technical Problems and Current Situation Analysis of PEM Electrolysis Hydrogen Production
A comprehensive analysis was conducted on the domestic and international proton exchange membrane electrolysis hydrogen production market and technology.At the same time,the technical problems existing were discussed in PEM electrolysis cells,hydrogen production systems,and renewable energy hydrogen production,and solutions were proposed.Analysis shows that foreign PEM hydrogen production systems are in a leading position in both the market and technology.Among them,the current density and lifespan of the electrolytic cell,the corrosion protection technology,internal pure water purification control technology,system noise control technology,and safety control technology of the hydrogen production system are superior to domestic products.The hydrogen permeability of membrane electrodes,the type and form of catalyst loading,the material substitution of gas diffusion layer,the optimization of processing and manufacturing technology and durability modification,as well as the thickness of bipolar plates,plate substitution,manufacturing process and surface coating deposition process are the main research directions and breakthrough points of PEM electrolytic cells.How to solve the adverse effects of quality fluctuations in renewable energy sources on electrolysis hydrogen production systems is the future development direction.
