Utilization Status and Practical Significance of Biomass Activated Carbon
Activated charcoal is an excellent adsorbent,widely used in industrial production and life,such as electric power,petroleum,chemical industry,metallurgy,medicine,food and so on.With the enhancement of people's consciousness of environmental protection,the amount of activated charcoal as a high-efficiency adsorbent increases year by year,and many substitute products have been developed.Biomass activated charcoal has attracted much attention because of its low price,wide source and abundant raw materials.This paper reviewed the preparation and application of biomass activated charcoal,analyzed its mechanism of action,and discussed its application prospect and significance in environmental protection.
