Research on the Application of Semiconductor Composite Materials in the Field of Photocatalytic Water Decomposition
The energy crisis and environmental pollution are the two major problems facing the world today,and they are the top priorities of our sustainable development strategy.In order to alleviate and eventually resolve the contradiction between energy supply and demand,to improve the increasingly severe environmental situation,countries and regions around the world are actively carrying out research and development of renewable energy.Hydrogen energy is an ideal energy source that utilizes solar energy to break down water under certain environmental conditions,producing hydrogen continuously and storing and utilizing it,which will make a great contribution to the development of mankind.The composite semiconductor material is an ideal photocatalyst material,and its photocatalytic principle,types,and its research progress in the industrialization of photocatalytic water decomposition are introduced in detail,and the future photocatalytic field is prospected.
