Preparation and Characterization of n-Octadecane/Silicon Dioxide Microencapsulated Phase Change Materials
In this paper,silicon dioxide MEPCMs(SiO2 MEPCMs)was prepared by sol-gel method with n-octadecane(n-OD)as core material and silicon dioxide(SiO2)as wall material.The optimal SiO2 MEPCMs was obtained by adjusting various reaction parameters.The optimal reaction parameters were as follows:the dosage of tetraethyl silicate was 10 mL,the volume ratio of water to ethanol was 2 : 1,the emulsifying speed was 12 000 r/min,and the stirring speed was 300 r/min.Moreover,we found that the droplet acceleration rate of NH3·H2O significantly changed the morphology of SiO2 MEPCMs.
