The Influence of Test Conditions on the Retention and Flux of Ultrafiltration Membrane
With 50kD and 100kD ultrafiltration membranes as the research object and bovine serum albumin as the test standard material, the effects of different filtration methods, running time, test pressure and feed liquid concentration on the ultrafiltration membrane retention and flux were tested. The results show that the retention rate of 50kD ultrafiltration membrane is little affected by different test conditions, and the deviation value is<±10%.The retention rate of 100kD ultrafiltration membrane is greatly affected by different test conditions, and the deviation value of different test conditions can reach 50%.The flux of 50kD and 100kD ultrafiltration membranes is greatly affected by the test condition, the results show that the relative size between the molecular weight of the trapped substance and the molecular weight of the ultrafiltration membrane has a great influence on the flux. For a long time of filtration(>20 min),the cross-flow filtration method of ultrafiltration membrane has more advantages than that of dead-end filtration, and the flux decay is slow and more stable.
