Brief Discussion of Crushing Strength Determination of Needle Cokes
Needle coke is being widely applied especially at large-size ultra-high power graphite electrode manufacturing field due to its good physical,mechanical and electrical performances.The large particle high intensity needle coke product is favored by graphite electrode manufacturers,and the crushing strength of needle coke is increasingly focused on.Hereby author introduce a method to test crushing strength of needle coke which is adopted in FDXKM laboratory and meantime discuss related influence factors briefly.Subsequently summarize and compare test conditions of crushing strength determination among domestic needle coke manufacturers and customers and put forward personal suggestions.
