Preparation and Thermal Properties of Hydroxyl Functionalized SSBR
The use of white carbon black to enhance SSBR has become a trend in the preparation of green tires.However,due to significant polarity differences,white carbon black is unevenly dispersed in SSBR.In response to this issue,this article uses thiol ene click chemistry to graft 1-thioglycerol onto SSBR chains.The GPC and 1 H-NMR results demonstrate that under the initiation ofLPO,the two successfully undergo an addition reaction.The experimental results show that reaction temperature,reaction atmosphere,and the amount of thiol added can all affect the grafting rate and the conversion rate of thiol.After grafting hydroxyl functional groups into the SSBR chain,the intermolecular interactions are enhanced,and the glass transition temperature increases.
