Comparison of Process Routes for Synthesis of Triethyl Phosphite by N,N-Dimethylaniline Method and Triethylamine Method
In this paper, the principle, process, raw material power consumption, material balance, production environment and influencing factors of each process, the generation of wastes and the effect after treatment, environmental pollution cases and main equipment of the two processes of synthesizing triethyl phosphite with N,N-dimethylaniline or triethylamine as acid binding agent are introduced in detail. The comparison results show that the N,N-dimethylaniline process has low yield, poor quality, and more pollution. The non-condensable ammonia gas in the process is directly discharged to pollute the environment. The by-product of ammonium chloride is risky, and the wastewater treatment is difficult. It is harmful to aquatic crops and has long-term adverse effects on the water environment. The triethylamine method has the advantages of high yield, less pollution,no waste gas in the process, recycling of sodium chloride by-product,sewage treatment, continuous process, less equipment area and fewer operators.
