CoCu-CaCO3/Sawdust Porous Carbon Based on the Activation of Peroxymonosulfate for Degrading Organic Pollutants
CoCu-CaCO3/sawdust porous carbon catalyst was prepared by simple impregnation and calcination method.The catalytic activity of the catalyst for reducing organic pollutants such as phenol and MB was investigated in the presence of PMS.In this experiment,the amount of CoCu-CaCO3/sawdust porous carbon was 0.05 g,the concentration of PMS,phenol and MB blue was 50,10 mg/L and 20 mg/L,it was found that the degradation efficiency of phenol and MB was 91.24%and 98.14%,respectively.Moreover,the synergistic effect of Co3O4,CuO,CaCO3 and sawdust porous carbon effectively improved the catalytic performance of the catalyst.After three cycles,the degradation rate of phenol was still as high as 87%,and·SO4-,1O2 and· O2- played an important role in the degradation process.
