Technical Measures on the Temperature Cross Problem in the Design of Heat Exchangers without Phase Change Process
In the process of heat exchanger process design,to ensure sufficient driving force for the heat transfer process, temperature crossing issues should be avoided. However,in order to meet the process requirements, heat exchangers often need to be designed with multiple tube passes. The flow pattern of fluid in multi tube heat exchangers is relatively complex, with both zigzag and cross flow coexisting, making it difficult to achieve pure reverse flow, resulting in temperature crossing problems. This article proposes two methods to solve the temperature crossing problem through an engineering example without phase change, and based on process conditions,a detailed engineering design was carried out for the heat exchanger.
