Synthesis of CaMoO4 ∶ Eu3+Fluorescent Materials and Their Applications in Fingerprint Development
Purpose:Traditional fingerprint display materials have low contrast with the object background,resulting in low contrast of fingerprint development.In addition,most traditional powders have weak adsorption capacity and fail to fully reflect the detailed characteristics of fingerprints,resulting in low sensitivity of fingerprint display.Methods:CaMoO4 ∶ Eu3+fluorescent materials have been synthesized via a conventional solid state reaction process.X-Ray diffraction(XRD)and photoluminescence(PL)were used to characterize the synthesized samples.Based on this,the potential fingerprint display performance of the material on different types of smooth substrates was mainly investigated.Results:Under the excitation of ultraviolet light,CaMoO4 ∶ Eu3+fluorescent materials emit bright red fluorescence;CaMoO4 ∶ Eu3+fluorescent materials can create a significant contrast between the displayed fingerprints and the object background,and the displayed fingerprints exhibit more detailed features(the 1~3 level features of fingerprints are clear and distinguishable).Conclusion:CaMoO4 ∶ Eu3+fluorescent materials exhibit high contrast and sensitivity in the process of fingerprint development,providing strong support for subsequent fingerprint identification work and has potential practical application prospects in public security.
