Study on the Effect of Process Parameters on the Performance of NCM811 Half Cell
The effects of half-cell formula and compaction density on electrochemical properties of LiNi0.8 Co0.1 Mn0.1 O2(NCM811)cathode material were studied. The results show that the low content of conductive agent in the formula is conducive to increasing the compaction density and alleviating the degree of particle breakage, but the reduction of conductive agent will slightly affect the rate and circulation performance. The increase of the electrode density can increase the contact between the active material and the conductive agent, reduce the impedance and thus increase the capacity, but it will also aggravate the particle breakage of the positive electrode material, resulting in increased impedance and cyclic attenuation during the cycle. This study provides experimental basis for the development and application of NCM811 materials, and is helpful to promote the further development of high nickel cathode materials.
