Determination of Trace Rare Earth Element Content in Camphor Tree Leaves by Solid-phase Spectrophotometry Research
Trace rare earth elements in camphor tree leaves was determined by solid-phase spectrophotometry with paraffin as a solid extraction agent and 8-hydroxyquinoline as a chromogenic agent. The influence was investigated of various factors on rare earth elements and the optimum analytical conditions were determined. When the mass concentration of lanthanide rare earth elements ranges from 0 to 1.6 μg/mL,there is a linear relationship between color fading degree and lanthanide rare earth elements content following Beer's law.The relative standard deviation for the testing of lanthanide rare earth elements is 2.5%,and the spike recovery rate ranges from 94.3%to 106.1%.This method exhibits high sensitivity, excellent selectivity, and satisfactory test results.
