Analysis of Abnormal Emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds from Oilfield Storage Tanks and Suggestions for Treatment
In recent years, the country has successively issued relevant standards and requirements, emphasizing the strengthening of coordinated control of methane and VOCs.During the production process, the storage tanks of the oilfield joint station emit methane and VOCs into the atmosphere, which is a key emission link for methane and VOCs in the onshore oil and gas extraction industry.Through in-depth research on the gas related processes and components of the three-phase separator, storage tank breathing valve, and extraction device in the joint station, the reasons for abnormal methane and VOCs emissions from the storage tank breathing valve were analyzed, and governance suggestions were proposed. This is of great significance for reducing oil evaporation loss and pollution control.
