Determination of Six Heavy Metal Elements In Natural Rubber by Microwave Digestion and ICP—OES
A method for simultaneous determination of six heavy metals(Pb,CD,Cr,Cu,Mn,Zn)in natural rubber by microwave digestion inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry(ICP—OES)was established.The purpose is to provide reference for the determination of multiple elements in natural rubber.Natural rubber samples were digested by microwave and the digested solution was determined by ICP—OES.With the optimal working conditions,the method has a good linear relationship for six heavy metal elements in the concentration range of 0.1~2.0 mg/L(the correlation coefficient is more than 0.9999),the detection limit is 0.05~0.5 mg/kg,and the recovery is 87.2%~94.2%.Microwave digestion method was easy to operate and the digestion time was short,which was suitable for the detection and analysis of large quantities of samples.The method can be used to determine the content of heavy metals in natural rubber and provide a basis for improving the quality standard of natural rubber.
