Energy Conservation Research on Multi Effect Evaporation Distillation and Heat Pump Distillation of Xylene Recovery Process
Xylene is a commonly used solvent in chemical production.It is usually recovered by a single distillation column,which consumes much energy.In the context of dual carbon,the factory adopts new technology to strengthen the solvent recovery process to reduce the energy consumption of solvent recovery,which is of great practical significance to improve the quality and efficiency.The chemical process simulation software was used to simulate the xylene multi effect evaporation distillation and heat pump distillation processes,and the energy consumption and recovery rate of the two schemes were compared.The recovery rate of xylene in the multi effect evaporation distillation process was 97.99%,and the annual energy-saving cost was 4.94 million yuan.The recovery rate of xylene in the heat pump distillation process was 99.69%,and the annual energy-saving cost was 5.60 million yuan.The huge energy saving potential was explored,which provided theoretical support for the later technical transformation.
