Application of Continuous Emission Monitoring System(CEMS)in Petrochemical Plants
In the operation of many petrochemical plants, heating furnaces are used to heat and raise the temperature of the materials. The emissions from the heating furnaces generate various waste gases. To effectively monitor these emissions, the introduction of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems(CEMS)is required to achieve efficient monitoring of pollutants. This article provides a discussion on CEMS,including its working principles, components, and advantages compared to traditional monitoring methods.Based on this, the specific applications of CEMS in petrochemical plants are explored, including installation requirements, monitoring of atmospheric pollutant emissions, process control and optimization,as well as safety and emergency response. This discussion aims to promote the widespread application of CEMS in petrochemical plants and provide data support for emission monitoring of pollutants.
