Preparation and Study of WO3/Basalt Powder/Epoxy Resin Composite Radiation Shielding Material
The composite radiation shielding material with epoxy resin as matrix,tungsten oxide and basalt powder as filler was prepared.The composites were characterized by XRD and SEM.The composite radiation shielding material filled with tungsten oxide and basalt powder was tested by thermogravimetric analysis and radiation properties.The results show that the dispersion of epoxy resin filled with WO3/basalt powder mixed particles modified by kh560 surface is good.The filling of WO3 and basalt powder increases the thermal stability and radiation shielding ability of the composite,and the mass attenuation coefficient of 50%WO3 at 59.5 keV energy is 7 times that of pure epoxy resin.
