TRIZ Methods for Reducing Nitrogen Consumption in VOCs Systems in Refineries
The control of VOCs emissions from storage tanks in refineries is generally achieved through measures such as oil and gas condensation recovery and tail gas incineration in VOCs systems.Current treatment methods, due to insufficient condensation recovery functionality, require incineration treatment of tail gas. However, incineration treatment results in the ineffective utilization of nitrogen in the tail gas, leading to nitrogen loss.To address the issue of high nitrogen consumption in VOCs treatment systems in storage tanks in refineries, the study explores the use of innovative methods such as functional analysis, causal analysis, conflict analysis, and ideal solution analysis from the TRIZ theory to identify key problem areas and root causes in the system.Conflict resolution tools,substance-field standard solution tools, effects, trimming tools, and other TRIZ tools are used to seek solutions to the problem and develop a final solution.
