The tube layout area of regeneration gas condenser is non circular,which is inconsistent with the axisymmetric mechanical model used in heat exchanger design method UHX of ASME Ⅷ-1.Check is done using finite element method.The analysis results indicate that the stress distributions on tubesheet and tube bundle are not uniform,but it can still meet strength requirements.
