Emergency Block Valve in Petrochemical Engineering
This paper introduces the setting principle of emergency block valve in petrochemical engineering by referring to the provisions and general practices of design codes at home and abroad.This paper describes in detail the technical requirements of the valve body and actuator of emergency block valve which are different from the general emergency shut off valve,and discusses the design and selection of emergency block valve in view of these technical requirements.Combined with the installation of emergency block valve and the design of related systems,the safety function of emergency block valve in plant fire is described from the Angle of fire protection design.
