The plastic additive bisphenol A(BPA)is ubiquitous in the environment as a typical hormone/endocrine-disrupting chemicals(EDCs),and in order to achieve efficient removal of BPA,antimony-tin-oxide doped carbon nanotubes with conductive membranes(SnO2-Sb@CNTEM)have been prepared by pumping filtration and BPA was removed by coupling membrane filtration and electro-oxidative processes. The membrane electrodes were also characterized for their surface properties by SEM,XPS,XRD,and the electrochemical properties of SnO2-Sb@CNTEM were characterised by LSV,CV,and EIS.The electrooxidation performance and stability of the membrane electrode were investigated with BPA as the target contaminant, and the generality of the membrane electrode was investigated with SMX,DCF,CIP,and TC as the target contaminants. It was shown that SnO2-Sb@CNTEM was successfully prepared. The electrooxidation performance of SnO2-Sb@CNTEM was better than that of CNTEM,BPA was more easily degraded under the conditions of the present study and SnO2-Sb@CNTEM had high stability and versatility.
