Optical Properties and Gene Condensation Properties of Carbon Quantum Dots Produced from Soybean Lecithin
Carbon quantum dots(CQDS)are widely used in the biomedical field because of their good photo stability and low toxicity.Natural carbon sources are widely used in the preparation of carbon quantum dots because of their low cost and environmental friendliness.A soybean lecithin based carbon quantum dot was synthesized by hydrothermal method using soybean lecithin as carbon source. As a natural phospholipid, soybean lecithin has good drug delivery ability, acting as both a carbon source and a cationizing agent.By adding triphenylphosphorus to enhance its positive electrical properties, the resulting carbon quantum dots showed strong and stable fluorescence, compared with the group without triphenylphosphorus, the size of the carbon quantum dots was 5 nm,the zeta potential was 35.8 mV,and complete condense DNA at a mass ratio of 800∶1 to DNA,which prove that soybean lecithin based carbon quantum dots have potential gene delivery ability.
