With the acceleration of urbanization and the growth of traffic demand,the safety and reliability of rail transit are increasingly concerned.Rail transit vehicles have been affected by environment,mechanical stress and chemical corrosion for many years.Coating protection is one of the key links to solve this problem.This paper introduces the influencing factors of rail transit coatings and the research and application status of waterborne coatings,and looks forward to the future technological innovation and development trend of protective coatings for rail transit.
