Finite Element Stress Analysis for Opening and Nozzle on Flat Cover Under Internal Pressure and Nozzle Load
A finite element stress analysis was conducted on the flat cover and perforated connecting pipe structure of a gas outlet pipe of a certain separator to withstand internal pressure and pipe load.The nozzle structure not only includes a straight pipe but also an elbow,and there is a branch pipe on the straight pipe.The analysis results indicate that the maximum stress occurs at the connection between the branch pipe and the main pipe,and the small diameter branch pipe should not be ignored during strength check.
