Research on the Construction of Container-type Combustion Laboratory
Traditional fire simulation experiments are usually conducted in smaller chamber spaces, and due to volume limitations, they usually only describe the combustion phenomenon in a certain stage. The use of modified containers for combustion testing can fully reproduce the entire fire combustion process and has strong practical value.Container type combustion laboratories are usually transformed from 40 foot standard containers, using wooden stacking as combustible materials.Due to the large quantity of combustible materials and their outdoor placement, there should be specific requirements for their usage environment and management. The indicator data tested during the combustion process mainly includes temperature, heat flux density, pressure difference, flue gas flow rate, flue gas composition, etc. The laboratory is divided into a combustion area and an observation area, equipped with testing instruments such as thermocouples, heat flux sensors, gas detectors, and pitot tubes to monitor various parameter changes during the combustion process.By drawing curves and fitting them, the entire combustion development process can be more fully reflected. The research results indicate that containerized combustion laboratories can provide experimental data support for fire disposal in similar scenarios, which helps to gain a deeper understanding of combustion phenomena and improve fire response capabilities.
