A Review with Regio-and Stereoselective Poly substituted Alkynes Synthesis by Cyclic Trivalent Iodine Reagents
Polysubstituted alkynes are highly important building blocks for many drug molecules, natural products, bioactive molecules, and organic materials, and are attractive synthetic target molecules in organic synthesis. However, how to accurately realize the regio-and stereoselective control of alkynes is the bottleneck in the study of their relevance,as well as a research hotspot and difficulty in related disciplines such as organic synthesis methodology.Cyclic trivalent iodine reagents have been widely used as oxidizing agents and electrophilic group transfer agents in organic synthesis. In addition, cyclic trivalent iodine reagents can also be used as novel electrophilic reagents for 1,2-bifunctionalization reactions with alkynes to achieve regioselective and stereoselective synthesis of poly substituted alkynes.
