Research Progress on Oxygen Vacancies in Metal Oxide Catalysts
Oxygen vacancies are a common lattice defect in metal oxides and play an important role in metal oxide catalysts. With the continuous improvement of characterization methods, researchers have made rapid progress in the study of oxygen vacancies in recent years. This article takes the introduction principle of oxygen vacancies as a clue to review the methods and related application achievements of introducing oxygen vacancies in metal oxide catalysts. At the same time, the characterization methods for oxygen vacancies were reviewed, and the mechanism of action was briefly described.I hope to provide direction and ideas for researchers to design and improve catalysts in a systematic manner, and to deepen their understanding of catalytic effects.I also look forward to future research in related fields.
