Research Progress in Reductive Coupling Organic Reactions
In the past few decades, coupling reactions have been recognized as one of the important synthesis strategies in the field of organic chemistry synthesis, especially in recent years, reductive coupling reactions have become a hot topic of widespread concern among many well-known scientists. The numerous metal elements in the transition metal region have the potential to serve as catalysts for reductive coupling reactions, including not only expensive metal catalysts such as palladium and iridium, but also inexpensive and readily available catalysts such as nickel, copper, and iron, which are widely used in the field of reductive coupling reactions.Compared with other traditional coupling methods, the reductive coupling reaction catalyzed by nickel has greatly simplified its chemical synthesis path, mostly using a one pot synthesis method, reducing the use of complex and cumbersome intermediates, which also significantly improves its economic benefits and conforms to the green development concept of modern chemistry.
