Applicability of Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry for Copper,Zinc,Lead,Nickel and Chromium in Soil and Sediment
Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry(FAAS)was used to determine Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni and Cr in soil and sediment, and the performance parameters of the method, such as correlation coefficients of the standard curves, limits of detection, precision and accuracy, were analyzed according to the results. The experimental results showed that the linearity of FAAS analysis for the determination of Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni and Cr content was good in the range of 0 mg/L to 2.5 mg/L.The method detection limits of FAAS for the determination of Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni and Cr were 1,0.3,2,2 and 1 mg/kg,respectively;and the lower limits of determination were 4,1.2,8,8 and 4 mg/kg,respectively;and the precision of Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni and Crmeasoried was in the range of 0.7%~17.2%.The overall relative errors of FAAS for the determination of Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni and Cr standard samples in soil and sediment were in the range of-2.7%~1.1%,which demonstrated a high accuracy. In the astual sample spiking recovery test of FA AS,the spirking recorery rate ranges from 80%to 119%.
