Analysis of Carbon Emission Characteristics and Carbon Reduction Potential in Fuel Lubricant Refineries
This paper presents a carbon footprint assessment of a typical fuel-lubricant refinery, analyzing its carbon emission characteristics. The primary sources of CO2 emissions is from the catalytic cracking unit's catalytic coking and hydrogen production unit exhaust gases. The carbon emissions per unit of lubricant products are lower than those of fuel products.Based on these emission characteristics, the paper analyzes the overall carbon reduction potential of the refinery and proposes measures to mitigate carbon emissions.
