Influence of Phosphoric Acid on the Rheological Properties of Magnesium Oxvsulfate Cement
Magnesium oxysulfate cement is a high-performance magnesium-based cementitious material, characterized by its lightweight, high strength, and excellent fire resistance, among other properties. Therefore,it holds vast potential for a wide range of applications.By preparing cement pastes with different w/c and using a rheometer, the study investigates the effect of varying dosages of phosphoric acid on the rheological properties of magnesium oxysulfate cement paste. The experimental results revealed that adjusting the W/C could effectively regulate the increase in viscosity. The addition of phosphoric acid delayed the hydration of the cement paste, leading to a reduction in its plastic viscosity and yield stress. The Bingham model provided a good fit for the rheological curves of the cement paste both before and after the addition of phosphoric acid.
