Atmospheric corrosion will cause economic losses, serious cases will also cause safety accidents, affecting life safety. It is of great significance to study atmospheric corrosion and protection policies. At present, the most commonly used methods to study atmospheric corrosion are atmospheric exposure test and laboratory accelerated test. The exposure experiment is to expose the material in the natural atmospheric environment, and evaluate the atmospheric corrosiveness of the material according to the test results. The test results are real and reliable.Through indoor simulation of the actual environment or accelerated environment simulation, the corrosion test is carried out on the test material, and the corrosion law is analyzed through the test data to predict the atmospheric corrosion behavior. At present, the commonly used laboratory accelerated test methods include salt spray test, hot and humid test, wet and dry immersion cycle test, corrosion paste test,multi-factor compound cycle corrosion test and so on.Based on the current research status of atmospheric corrosion,in recent years, research has mainly focused on local microenvironment atmospheric corrosion and multi-factor compound cyclic corrosion tests, which will continue to be the development direction in the future.
