253MA波纹管失效原因分析

某波纹管在工作过程中出现泄漏问题,采用宏观与微观观察、能谱分析、成分分析及金相分析,研究波纹管失效方式并探讨了裂纹产生的原因.结果表明:裂纹起源于波纹管外表面靠近进气口第2~3个波峰处,253MA波纹管外壁面在含氯元素的环境中工作产生点蚀,受外力时腐蚀坑作为应力集中点产生裂纹,裂纹由外向内扩展,最终导致零件泄漏.
Analysis on Reasons for Failure of 253MA Bellow
Bellows had a leakage problem in the course of its work.By macroscopic and microscopic observation,energy spectrum analysis,composition analysis and metallographic structure analysis,the reasons for the failure of the bellows and the causes of the cracks were analyzed.The results show that the cracks originate from the outside surface of the bellows near the 2nd~3rd peaks from the inlet.The outer surface of the 253MA bellow works in chlorine-containing environments which causes pitting,and crack begins at the pitting point which is a stress concentration point,when exposed to external forces.The cracks extend from the outer surface to the inner surface,and eventually lead to parts leakage.
