Effect of pH Value on the Application of Induced Crystallization Fluidized Bed Technology for Water Softening
In recent years, induced crystallization fluidized bed technology has attracted more and more attention due to its simple operation and recyclable products. In this study,by exploring the effect of pH value on the application of induced crystallization fluidized bed technology for water softening,it was found that the calcium removal rate increased with the increase of pH value in the low-calcium treatment medium, and the removal rate of Ca2+could reach about 85%in the range of 10.2~10.5 under the n(Ca2+)∶n(CO32-)=1∶0.5.In the high-calcium treatment medium, under the condition of n(Ca2+)∶n(CO32-)=1∶0.8,the pH value of the effluent is in the range of 10.6~11.6,the calcium removal rate is maintained at about 94%.The magnesium removal rate increases with the increase of pH value, but the turbidity of the effluent increases. After inducing crystallization, the particulate matter can be used as a resource.
