An Expansion and Renovation Project Example of a Sewage Treatment Plant of an Economic Zone in Shandong Province
An area of 13 km2 in an economic zone of Shandong Province has been identified as a chemical industrial park by the government.Some of the enterprises relocated to the economic zone want to produce ahead of schedule,but the sewage treatment plant in the original economic zone cannot meet the wastewater treatment needs of the enterprises.Moreover,due to the lagging construction of the new sewage treatment plant in the park,the original sewage treatment plant urgently needs to be expanded and renovated.The expansion and renovation project adopted the combined process of"pre-aeration regulating tank+A/O biochemical tank+secondary sedimentation tank+dissolved gas floating tank+activated carbon filtration".The process was efficient and stable,and the water quality of effluent met the design standard.In addition,it met the Grade A standard of"Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewatertreatment plant"(GB 18918-2002).
