Research Progress on the Application of Layered Magnesium Aluminum Double Hydroxides
Magnesium aluminum layered double hydroxide(Mg-Al-LDH)is a new type of two-dimensional layered nanomaterial,which has the characteristics of large specific surface area,strong adsorption,high thermal stability,and good cycling stability.It has good application prospects in energy,medicine,environment and other fields,and can be used as a catalyst,battery material,drug carrier,analysis and detection reagent,sewage treatment agent,gas adsorbent,etc.Its preparation methods mainly include co-precipitation method,hydrothermal method,ion exchange method,etc.Among them,co-precipitation method is a commonly used preparation method with simple operation,low cost,and easy control of reaction conditions.At the same time,Mg-Al-LDH also has drawbacks such as easy aggregation,large amount of waste liquid during preparation,and difficulty in regeneration.Currently,there is more laboratory related research and less large-scale industrial application for Mg-Al-LDH.Efforts need to be made to overcome these shortcomings in the future to make it easier for industrial application.The author provides a systematic review of the application research progress of Mg-Al-LDH both domestically and internationally in recent years,which can provide reference for its related theory and application research.
