Determination of Diethylene Glycol Residues in 51 Kinds of Cosmetics by Gas Chromatography
Taking 51 kinds of cosmetics as the analysis object, many kinds of cosmetics were determined by optimizing pretreatment, chromatographic conditions, repeated standard recovery and other factors. After solvent dissolution, concussion, ultrasound and filtration, the samples were determined on the machine. The samples were determined by the imported American gas chromatograph with hydrogen flame ionization detector(FID).The samples were separated by polar capillary column WAX(30 m ×250 μm×0.32 μm).The samples were qualitatively determined by retention time and quantified by external standard method. The peak area of the standard sample showed a good linear relationship in the concentration range of 2.5~50 µg/mL,and the correlation coefficient was 0.999 6.In this method, three low, medium and high concentrations were selected:2.5,10 and 50.0 pg,respectively, and the average recovery was 94.8%~100%.When the signal-to-noise ratio is 3 times and the baseline noise is 5.0 pA·s,the detection limit is 2.24 mg·kg-1,and the quantitative limit is 6.72 mg·kg-1,RSD:1.94%~4.42%.The determination under the chromatographic condition of this method can save a lot of time, less pollution and low detection limit, which accords with the determination of large quantities of cosmetics at present, and can provide a powerful reference for testing cosmetics.
