Experimental Study on Factors Influencing Arsenic Removal by Sulfidation of Smelting Waste Acid
In order to address the problems of large fluctuations in arsenic ion content, large dosage of sulfurization agents, and unstable compliance of gypsum slag in polluted acid solution, experimental research was conducted on the polluted acid produced by a copper smelting plant.Sodium hydrogen sulfide was used as the arsenic removal agent to study the sulfurization arsenic removal operation parameters. The results showed that the larger the dosage of sodium hydrosulfide, the longer the reaction duration, the higher the acidity, and the lower the residual arsenic ion content in the reaction solution. After adding 1.2 times the theoretical dosage of sodium hydrosulfide and reacting for 40 minutes, the residual arsenic ion content in the reaction solution was less than or equal to 30 mg/L,and the arsenic removal rate reached 99.6%,ensuring that the total arsenic content in the gypsum residue leaching solution produced by the continued treatment of the reaction solution was less than or equal to 5 mg/L,make gypsum residue a general solid waste, achieving the goal of reducing hazardous waste residue.
