Determination of Nitrite Nitrogen in Seawater by Flow Analysis and Naphthalene Ethylenediamine Spectrophotometry
Nitrate nitrogen in seawater was determined by naphthalene ethylenediamine spectrophotometry and flow analysis respectively, and the experimental principle, equipment, water sample collection, accuracy and precision of the determination results were compared and analyzed. The linearity of the two methods is good, the correlation coefficients are both greater than 0.999,the accuracy and precision meet the analysis requirements, and there is no significant difference in the actual sample determination results.Naphthalene ethylenediamine spectrophotometry has a heavy workload and is suitable for the determination of a small amount of seawater samples in the laboratory. The detection limit of flow analysis method is lower, the data processing system directly displays the monitoring results, the consumption of water samples and reagents is low,the analysis is rapid, and the human interference is small,so it is suitable for the continuous determination of seawater samples with large sample size in the laboratory.
