Effect of Temperature and Salt Treatment Agent on Crystal Transformation of Titanium Dioxide During Titanium Dioxide Production
Salt treatment and calcination temperature play a decisive role in the production of sulphuric acid titanium dioxide, and the quality of salt treatment directly affects the calcination, and the quality of calcination directly affects the whiteness and pigment properties of titanium dioxide products.Based on the actual production, the quality requirements of titanium dioxide were analyzed by different temperature gradients and different salts. It is found that when calcined at 850℃for 1h,rutile crystal conversion is high and whiteness meets production requirements.Different salt treatments have different effects on the quality of the product, phosphorus will inhibit the generation of rutile, but it can effectively improve the whiteness of the product, zinc can reduce the conversion temperature from anatase to rutile, potassium salt can improve the dispersion of titanium dioxide.
